Azerbaijan simplifies visa procedures for Formula 1
President Ilham Aliyev has signed an Order on simplifying visa procedures for foreigners and stateless persons arriving in the Republic of Azerbaijan in connection with the Formula 1 race to be held in Baku in 2026
The Order stipulates that foreigners and stateless persons arriving in the Republic of Azerbaijan in connection with the Formula 1 race to be held in Baku in 2026 and presenting any of the documents mentioned below may obtain visas at the international airports of the Republic of Azerbaijan from August 25 to September 30, 2026.
1. An accreditation card or other document confirming accreditation in accordance with the relevant rules of “Formula One Management Limited” company and International Automobile Federation, the international organizers of Formula 1 races.
2. An accreditation card for Baku City Circuit Operations Company.
3. A ticket, including electronic ticket or a document that confirms obtaining a ticket for Formula 1 race to be held in Baku in 2026.
