The consular registration of citizens of the Republic of Azerbaijan residing permanently or temporarily abroad, as well as the registration of those engaged in paid employment in foreign countries, is carried out in order to ensure full protection of their rights, legitimate interests and security by the state. Furthermore, consular registration enables the Embassy to maintain regular contact with citizens, inform them about events organized for the Azerbaijani community, and keep them informed of the news from Azerbaijan.
Citizens of the Republic of Azerbaijan residing permanently or temporarily in Lebanon based on relevant documentation issued by Lebanese authorities, are registered at the Consular Section of the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Lebanon.
Required documents:
- Application form for permanent or temporary residents (must be fully completed);

A copy of the document confirming that the person has a permanent or temporary residence permit;
- Copy of passport;
- 1 color photograph (3.5 x 4.5 cm) – for those residing permanently abroad;
Once the documents have been fully and correctly prepared, they must be submitted to the Embassy either by mail or in person.
